So, it has been awhile since we updated, but as you can tell, not alot has changed. We are still in demo mode as far as the house goes! However, we have started getting a fence up for our future garden! Yay!
The bugs are still on a rampage maybe even more than before. Since all the drywall has come down, we have found that the barrier from the siding to the house was not ever installed. So, now the bugs just crawl right in through the walls! Lovely!
We have found tons of "knob and tube" electrical wiring behind the drywall. We have, since, brought in an electrician to rewire the entire house. That is still a project in motion, but slowly, it is getting done!
We had a week long vacation in Florida, and are happy to get back to the transformation process!
(Oh and the sliding french doors have been ordered! They should come in 4 weeks!)

This is a photo of our fencing that is going up for our garden outside! It is right outside the kitchen window between the "Ag house" and the main house.

Here is a picture of the master bedroom and its lack of drywall.
The gray flooring you see in this photo is actually outdoor decking from when this portion of the house was an outdoor deck. It is now part of the master bedroom and was found under the plywood. Exciting!

This is downstairs in the dining room. This is bitter-sweet as I love the old moldings in here, but Chris says it will all come back. They are opening the walls, once again, so the electrician can get to the old wiring and fix it all!

This is the "GRAND" entrance. There used to be a wall between us and the entry room. Now it is WIDE open! This will be where the majorty of our guests will enter our house...eventually! *wink*
